Are you looking for a new career challenge? We are looking for an experienced golf resort general manager to project manage the opening of two resorts in Egypt. The Company CMM has been appointed to recruit an outstanding General Manager to oversee operations, at two exclusive new golf resorts located in Egypt, in their pre-opening phases. The Resorts include 18 hole championship golf courses, academies, hotel, spa, sport and leisure facilities and residential properties. This position requires an individual who has had experience in resort start-up’s and is currently working within a high end operation/environment as a polished and outstanding manager with an exceptional eye for detail and with the ability to build and maintain standards across all areas of the resort. Responsibilities: • Oversee both resort start-up phases on a day-to-day basis. • Oversee all areas of the business including golf operations, hotel management, spa, sport and leisure facilities, residential properties, food and beverage and financial management. • Financial reporting and budget control. • Marketing and business development. • Recruitment of key staff members and the management of current staff • Development of the resort national and internationally. Requirements: • Demonstrate a proven track record within luxury 5 star resorts, with over 5 or more years experience. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • The ability to adapt to changing and challenging environments. • Strong people management and administrational abilities. • Commercial and marketing knowledge. • The ability to manage and lead a large team.
