Peter Gustafsson (PGA of Sweden) made an early move in Round 02 of the 12th Aegean Airlines Pro-Am, with a six-under par 65 at The Bay Course at Costa Navarino in Greece.

Starting at just inside the top-ten, Gustafsson took advantage of the still conditions that an early time afforded him, with two birdies out and four in for his total that sees him hold a two-shot lead on nine-under par (133).

“The Dunes Course is challenging, the better player is going to win,” said Gustafsson. “If I play good I might have chance, I just need to stay focused on it.”

Second place went to the PGA of Austria’s Georg Schultes who battled through much windier conditions later on The Bay Course for a three-under par 68 and a seven-under 135 total.

The PGA of Italy’s Paolo Terreni sits a further two shots behind on five-under par (137), followed by the PGA of Austria’s Mike Burrows and the PGA of Germany’s David Heinzinger in tied-fourth at four-under (138).

Team Pro-Am results will be released shortly after the culmination of Round 03.
