Posted on: 31st Mar 2017

From 11th to 14th July, the beautiful Black Sea east coast of Bulgaria will once again play host to the BlackSeaRama Vivacom Pro-Am.

Four-person teams of three amateurs and a PGA Professional will descend upon BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas, and have the opportunity to play some of the most stunning golf courses in Europe. Professionals will compete over 54 holes for a prize fund of €25,000*.

The opening two rounds will be played at the Gary Player-designed Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort, and the Ian Woosnam-designed Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort. The final round will then move to BlackSeaRama’s own Gary Player design, par 72, cliff-top links course.

Last year’s event was a thrilling contest and was won by PGA of Spain Professional, Carlos Rodiles. The Spaniard carded a final round 69 (-3) to finish on six-under par (209) and claim his first PGAs of Europe Sanctioned Event victory.
